RIFT

Inspired by wet pebbles that line stream beds, Rift is a fitted toque that uses an easy to memorize slip stitch pattern to blend together two favourite colourways. It’s a great way to show off those special skeins of variegated, hand dyed yarn. Try alternating different colours for the CC for a striped or gradient effect.

Sizes to fit 16(18, 20, 22, 24)” / 40.5(46, 51, 56, 61 )cm circumference.

Finished Measurements
Approx 14(16, 17.5, 19.5, 21.5)” / 35.5(40.5, 44.5, 49.5, 54.5)cm circumference and 6(6 1/2, 7 1/2, 8, 9)” / 15(16.5, 19, 20.5, 23)cm long, blocked.

Yarn
2 skeins of Sweet Fiber Yarns Merino Twist Worsted (100% Superwash Merino, 183m/200yds per 115 gram skein), shown in Sketchbook (MC) and Hippolyta (CC). Cashmerino Worsted can be used a substitute. 

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows = 4in/10cm in sl st pattern in the rnd on larger needles, lightly blocked.
